Before taking on the role of co-owner at RTM, J worked in Finance & Insurance at Ray Skillman, honing his skills in management and customer service. His favorite part of the RTM journey? Without a doubt, it's the people who make up the heart of the business. A proud father of two, J’s life outside of work revolves around his love for family, boating, and cheering for the Indianapolis Colts. When he’s not on the water, you might find him relaxing to the sounds of Morgan Wallen or enjoying some chicken wings while watching his favorite movie, The Wolf of Wall Street. Despite being a high school dropout, J’s path to success is a testament to his hard work and determination. One piece of advice that’s stuck with him? “You're not going to get to the top of the mountain by jumping peak to peak.” It’s this mentality that drives him forward, along with his personal motto: “Be careful what you say no to.” If J could meet anyone in history, it would be Walt Disney, someone he admires for his vision and creativity. Joining RTM was a natural fit for Sandy, and her favorite part of the job is working with the incredible people around her. A proud mother of two—Bryce, 31, and Jordan, 25—Sandy enjoys a full life outside of work. She’s passionate about attending concerts, decorating her home, and traveling. Sandy’s love for music spans all genres, but Kenny Chesney holds a special place as her favorite artist. When it comes to sports, Sandy is a huge hockey fan, with her kids both having played the sport. She cheers on the Pittsburgh Penguins and is also a supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs. Something not many people know about Sandy is that she was born with two holes in her heart, but it has never stopped her from living life to the fullest. If she could meet anyone in history, she’d choose Maya Angelou, admiring her wisdom and perspective. One of the best pieces of advice Sandy lives by is: “Do the best you can until you know better. When you know better, do better.” Her personal motto, “Today is a good day for a good day,” reflects her optimistic outlook on life. Her taste in music is eclectic, enjoying everything from Teddy Swims to Post Malone. When it comes to food, her go-to meal is a ribeye and salad, but chocolate is the one thing she can't live without! Something people might not know about Belinda is that she loves teaching others. If she could meet anyone from history, it would be Michelangelo, as she’s always admired the beauty and intricacy of his art. Outside of work, Paige is a proud mom of three and enjoys spending time traveling and fishing. A recent graduate from Indiana University (December 2024), Tiffany spent her time before RTM traveling and helping out at her aunt’s restaurant, Yokohama, where she worked both as a waitress and sushi chef. Drawn to RTM by its supportive culture and opportunities for growth, Tiffany appreciates an environment where she can continuously develop her skills while contributing to a motivated and collaborative team. Originally from Paraguay, Tiffany enjoys staying connected with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, visiting cafes, and catching movies in her downtime. A fan of pop music, she enjoys discovering new sounds as her tastes evolve. When it comes to shows, her go-to is Grey’s Anatomy, and her favorite food is a comforting hotpot. Josh joined RTM because of his admiration for owner Jay Hurless, whose leadership and vision he deeply respects. For Josh, the best part about working at RTM is simple—the people. He thrives in a culture that values collaboration, trust, and development. Outside of the showroom, Josh loves adventuring with his wife and young son, Ari, and is passionate about developing others and building businesses. He’s a big fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and enjoys a mix of jazz, rap, and hip-hop. Though he enjoys watching football, baseball, and basketball, Josh prefers to focus more on personal and professional growth than following teams. After enjoying a year of early retirement—spent traveling and “marinating”—Joe returned to the workforce seeking camaraderie and connection, which he found at RTM. Joe’s favorite part of working here? The people. He thrives on teamwork and collaboration, bringing energy and personality to every interaction. Outside of work, Joe’s life is just as dynamic. He’s a proud dad of three, and when he’s not spending time with family, you’ll find him cooking, mountain biking, shooting, or relaxing in his favorite state: marination. He listens to everything from 2000s country to hip hop and isn’t afraid to admit that Spanish soap operas are his go-to TV choice. A lover of extreme sports and the proudest fan of whatever team his kids are on, Joe lives life with curiosity and humor. Fun fact: as a child, doctors believed he might have an alien lifeforce inside him due to his boundless energy. His personal favorite? The Bennington Pontoons—he can’t get enough of them! But John’s story doesn’t end with his love for boating. Outside of work, he’s a proud father of 3 and a granddad to 5 (with a 6th on the way!). Whether he's spending time with his grandkids or out on the water, family is his top priority. A rock music enthusiast, John is particularly fond of Van Morrison and classic rock vibes. You can often catch him rooting for his favorite teams—Purdue, the Colts, and the Reds—whether he's at a game or tuning in from his boat. His life has been quite the journey too—did you know he’s a former police officer and once owned a Christmas Tree Farm? Outside of work, Jason enjoys reading and relaxing, valuing the moments of peace that help him recharge. He’s also a dedicated Bengals fan and has an athletic background, having wrestled in both high school and college—something many people don’t know about him. Monty’s mission at RTM is simple but powerful: to give customers the exceptional experience they deserve while fostering growth among his team. His favorite part of the job? Watching people develop and grow, both professionally and personally. A true tinkerer at heart, Monty spends his free time working on his latest project—building his own airplane—along with his love for guns and boating. His appreciation for craftsmanship extends to his taste in music, where he favors the timeless works of Bach and the soul of classical music created with real instruments. Monty’s curiosity knows no bounds; he’s an "information junkie" who constantly seeks to learn more about things he has no business knowing but can’t resist diving into. Outside of work, Justin’s life revolves around his three children—an 11-year-old daughter, a 4-year-old son, and a 2-year-old daughter. He enjoys spending quality time with them, along with working out, fishing, and playing video games. A dedicated rock fan, Justin’s favorite bands include Ice Nine Kills and Linkin Park, with Chester Bennington being the one historical figure he wishes he could meet, as Linkin Park was the first rock band that truly resonated with him. Justin describes himself as a bit of a nerd and has a deep love for anime, something he says he couldn't live without. His favorite quote, “You gotta risk it to get the biscuit,” reflects his determined and adventurous mindset. As a father of four, family is his top priority. He’s a rock music fan, with Mana at the top of his playlist, and a big supporter of LA Galaxy on the sports front. Juan’s go-to meal is Mexican food, and tacos are a staple he just can’t live without. If he could meet anyone in history, it would be Jesus, who he considers the most important person in his life. The best advice he’s ever received is to “be yourself,” and that’s how he approaches both life and work. Meet Patrick Moore – Service Tech Patrick Moore is part of the service team at Reeder Trausch Marine, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his time at Coastal Offshore X-Cellence, where he worked as both a tech and a captain. After moving to Indianapolis, Patrick saw a great opportunity to grow with RTM– and we’re lucky he did. He’s quickly become known for his strong work ethic and appreciation for RTM’s family-like atmosphere and growth potential. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time in the woods with his two sons. He’s a country music fan through and through, with Gavin Adcock as his favorite artist. While he’s not big on sports, he’s all about quality time with family and staying grounded. His favorite food is a classic steak, and when it comes to boats, nothing beats an orange white Bennington with twin Yamahas. Many people might not know that Patrick dreams of owning and running his own shop someday. He lives by the motto “Death before dishonor,” and the best advice he’s ever received is simple but powerful: “Always tell the truth.” If he could meet anyone from history, it’d be Johnny Cash–an icon who shares Patrick’s no-nonsense attitude and depth. The one thing Patrick can’t live without? His wife–his rock through it all. With his hands-on expertise, drive to grow, and no-quit mindset, Patrick is a great addition to the RTM crew. Ash Bruner brings a strong passion for boating and a wealth of hands-on experience to her role as a Service Technician at RTM Indy. Prior to joining the team, Ash worked at Freedom Boat Club as both a Fleetio Tech and dockhand—a role she enjoyed most in her career. That experience not only sharpened her technical skills but also deepened her connection to the boating community. Drawn to RTM by its fast-paced, team-driven environment, Ash thrives in a workplace where collaboration and support go hand in hand. She values the family-like culture at RTM and enjoys being part of a crew that works hard, communicates well, and takes pride in delivering quality service to every customer. Outside of work, Ash enjoys boating, spending time with friends and family, and getting competitive in a good game of UNO. She’s a proud mom to two sons, ages 17 and 19, and cherishes any time spent with them. A true music enthusiast, her playlist covers everything from Justin Bieber and Morgan Wallen to Sublime and Wiz Khalifa—with country music taking the top spot. Ash is also a lifelong Pacers fan, and holds a fun claim to fame: she once golfed with Larry Bird. She's a dedicated Survivor fan—so much so that it’s become a family tradition, complete with fantasy leagues and pools. Guided by the mantra, “Thoughts become things—what you think about, you bring about,” Ash believes in taking action, living with intention, and keeping life in motion. Her long-term dream is to travel the country with her wife in a camper, captaining boats in different regions and fully embracing life on their own terms. Matthew Brandenburg

Outside of work, Matt enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and concerts, and grilling with his family. He has four kids: Jack, Austin, Lucy, and Brielle, who are his world. A music lover, Matt’s favorite artist is Allen Stone, and he’s a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Butler Bulldogs. Something many don’t know? He’s related to two brothers who raced in the first Indy 500! Matt’s life motto is “Everything is figureoutable,” and his favorite piece of advice is to never go to bed mad and to always be thankful for each day. Before joining the RTM team, Leslie worked in merchandising, but his passion for the water inspired him to pursue a career in the marine industry. Now as a Parts Specialist, Leslie enjoys learning all about the different parts that make a boat function and run at its best. Outside of work, Leslie loves playing soccer, exploring the outdoors, and spending time on video games — something he says he can’t live without. He’s a fan of rap music and System of a Down, and when it comes to kicking back, you can usually catch him watching Spongebob. Fun fact: If Leslie could meet anyone in history, it would be his grandfather on his father’s side. He lives by the motto “Live, Laugh, Love,” and has some exciting life goals ahead — going to school as a marine technician, buying a boat of his own, and earning his captain’s license. As for his favorite boats at RTM? Leslie is all about the Benningtons.

Meet Ben Johnston, Videographer Ben Johnston brings creative energy and a storyteller’s mindset to his role as Videographer at Reeder Trausch Marine (RTM) Indy. With six years of experience creating content for college and professional athletics, Ben has a passion for capturing moments that connect people. From highlight reels to athlete profiles, he knows how to tell stories that resonate—and he’s now bringing that same talent to the world of boating. Ben joined RTM to sharpen his skills, gain new experiences, and continue growing as a visual creator. What he loves most about RTM is the culture, the energy of the team, and—of course—being surrounded by boats every day. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with friends and family, gaming, and getting out on the water at Geist whenever possible. A former competitive singer and dancer for 10 years, he’s got a flair for performance that carries over into his visual work. While he doesn’t have a single favorite artist, his playlists range from EDM to classic rock. Sports are another big part of Ben’s life—he follows soccer, football, basketball, hockey, and lacrosse, rooting for teams like the Pacers, Colts, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Detroit Red Wings. His go-to movie? Star Wars—which makes his favorite quote, “Do or do not. There is no try,” all the more fitting. Pizza is his ideal last meal, and his cameras are the one thing he couldn’t live without. If he had a superpower, he’d choose teleportation or flying—anything to chase the next great shot. His favorite boat at RTM? The 2023 MasterCraft X24—powerful, sleek, and built for big moments. Ben’s long-term dream is to own a media company that helps people tell their stories and preserve memories that last a lifetime. With his creative instincts, eye for detail, and passion for storytelling, Ben brings fresh perspective and undeniable value to the RTM Indy team.

Brock Johnson

Meet Brock Johnson, Photographer Brock is the creative eye behind the lens at RTM Indy, capturing the boats, people, and moments that make our community shine. Before joining the team, he worked as a supervisor at a bowling alley, but he was ready for a change of pace—and RTM sounded like the perfect mix of fun and opportunity. What he loves most about working here? The coworkers. Brock says the team is “really nice and personable,” which makes every day more enjoyable. Outside of work, Brock’s world is filled with music and friends. He plays guitar, listens to his favorite band Static-X, and enjoys the energy of metal music. He’s also a Minnesota sports fan, a Simpsons Movie re-watcher, and never turns down a good pizza. One thing you might not know about him: he’s broken about 12 bones! If he could meet anyone in history, Brock would choose Pablo Picasso, whose creativity continues to inspire. His favorite quote, “I think, therefore I am,” reflects his thoughtful outlook, while his best piece of advice is simple but powerful: “Make the time for things you want.” When he’s not taking photos at RTM, you’ll probably find him with his pets, dreaming of the day he can release the music he’s been working on. If he had a superpower, he’d choose flight—because who wouldn’t want that freedom? And when it comes to boats, the Bennington 23 SLR has stolen his heart.
