Before taking on the role of co-owner at RTM, J worked in Finance & Insurance at Ray Skillman, honing his skills in management and customer service. His favorite part of the RTM journey? Without a doubt, it's the people who make up the heart of the business. A proud father of two, J’s life outside of work revolves around his love for family, boating, and cheering for the Indianapolis Colts. When he’s not on the water, you might find him relaxing to the sounds of Morgan Wallen or enjoying some chicken wings while watching his favorite movie, The Wolf of Wall Street. Despite being a high school dropout, J’s path to success is a testament to his hard work and determination. One piece of advice that’s stuck with him? “You're not going to get to the top of the mountain by jumping peak to peak.” It’s this mentality that drives him forward, along with his personal motto: “Be careful what you say no to.” If J could meet anyone in history, it would be Walt Disney, someone he admires for his vision and creativity. Previously, she spent much of her career at Denny’s Marina, where she worked in finance and office management before the company transitioned to RTM. Joining RTM was a natural fit for Sandy, and her favorite part of the job is working with the incredible people around her. A proud mother of two—Bryce, 31, and Jordan, 25—Sandy enjoys a full life outside of work. She’s passionate about attending concerts, decorating her home, and traveling. Sandy’s love for music spans all genres, but Kenny Chesney holds a special place as her favorite artist. When it comes to sports, Sandy is a huge hockey fan, with her kids both having played the sport. She cheers on the Pittsburgh Penguins and is also a supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs. Something not many people know about Sandy is that she was born with two holes in her heart, but it has never stopped her from living life to the fullest. If she could meet anyone in history, she’d choose Maya Angelou, admiring her wisdom and perspective. One of the best pieces of advice Sandy lives by is: “Do the best you can until you know better. When you know better, do better.” Her personal motto, “Today is a good day for a good day,” reflects her optimistic outlook on life. When it comes to food, her go-to meal is a ribeye and salad, but chocolate is the one thing she can't live without! Something people might not know about Belinda is that she loves teaching others. Meet Tiffany Wu, Office Assistant - Tiffany joined Reeder-Trausch Marine Indy as an Office Assistant, bringing a fresh perspective and an eagerness to learn. A recent graduate from Indiana University (December 2024), Tiffany spent her time before RTM traveling and helping out at her aunt’s restaurant, Yokohama, where she worked both as a waitress and sushi chef. Drawn to RTM by its supportive culture and opportunities for growth, Tiffany appreciates an environment where she can continuously develop her skills while contributing to a motivated and collaborative team. Originally from Paraguay, Tiffany enjoys staying connected with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, visiting cafes, and catching movies in her downtime. A fan of pop music, she enjoys discovering new sounds as her tastes evolve. When it comes to shows, her go-to is Grey’s Anatomy, and her favorite food is a comforting hotpot. Meet Josh Falcón, Sales Manager With over a decade of leadership experience in the automotive industry, Josh Falcón brings strategic vision, a passion for people, and an entrepreneurial mindset to his role as Sales Manager at Reeder Trausch Marine (RTM) Indy. He spent 12 impactful years at Ray Skillman Auto Group, ultimately serving as General Sales Manager, where he honed his ability to build high-performing teams and drive sustainable growth. Josh joined RTM because of his admiration for owner Jay Hurless, whose leadership and vision he deeply respects. For Josh, the best part about working at RTM is simple—the people. He thrives in a culture that values collaboration, trust, and development. Outside of the showroom, Josh loves adventuring with his wife and young son, Ari, and is passionate about developing others and building businesses. He’s a big fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and enjoys a mix of jazz, rap, and hip-hop. Though he enjoys watching football, baseball, and basketball, Josh prefers to focus more on personal and professional growth than following teams. Meet Jason Armstrong, Sales Associate Jason Armstrong joined the Reeder Trausch Marine (RTM) Indy team as a Sales Associate, bringing experience from his time at Champion, where he worked in sales. His decision to join RTM was fueled by a desire to learn more about the boating industry and its unique culture. So far, his favorite part of the job has been the welcoming atmosphere and the team dynamic that makes each day enjoyable. Outside of work, Jason enjoys reading and relaxing, valuing the moments of peace that help him recharge. A fan of old-school R&B and jazz, he appreciates the timeless quality of music but doesn’t have a single favorite artist. He’s also a dedicated Bengals fan and has an athletic background, having wrestled in both high school and college—something many people don’t know about him. If Jason could meet anyone from history, he’d want to talk to the builders of the pyramids to uncover the mystery of how they were constructed. Having worked in various sales roles—including a memorable stretch selling diecast toys—Jack realized early on how much he enjoyed working directly with customers. His previous experience in the marine industry is what truly sparked his interest in pontoons and ultimately led him to RTM. Jack’s favorite part of the job? The people. He values the customer-first culture at RTM, where every team member is genuinely focused on helping—not just showing up for a paycheck. Outside of work, Jack enjoys golfing, playing video games, and learning about the behind-the-scenes world of film and TV production. He grew up singing in choirs and bands and now listens mostly to alternative folk, with The Dreggs being a current favorite. A proud cat dad to Tommy, his larger-than-life Maine Coon mix, Jack also has a soft spot for Monster energy drinks and chicken parmesan. His favorite aspect of working at RTM? The teamwork. Scott thrives in a collaborative environment where everyone pulls together to get the job done right. Outside of work, Scott is all about family and the great outdoors. He’s the proud father of his son J and daughter Vasiti, and absolutely treasures time spent with his grandbabies. When he’s not delivering boats, you’ll likely find him fishing, boating, or cheering on his favorite football teams—the Michigan Wolverines and the Chicago Bears. Nick Kirk brings strong leadership, organization, and a people-first mindset to his role as Service Manager at Reeder-Trausch Marine Indy. With a background as a Service Manager at Falcone Powersports, Nick has spent years overseeing service departments, managing logistics, and delivering high-level customer service—all skills that translate directly into keeping RTM customers on the water and confident in their ownership experience. Nick joined RTM after quickly recognizing the winning attitude and team-driven culture during his working interview. What stood out most to him was the sense of unity across the dealership. He values being part of a team that supports one another and steps up when it matters most, a mindset he brings into the service department every day. Outside of work, Nick is deeply family-oriented. He and his wife have two children, a son and a daughter, and currently have a foster child in their household. When he’s not at the dealership, you’ll likely find him spending time with family, camping, enjoying the outdoors, riding motorcycles, or following his passion for racing—especially IndyCar. Nick is a big fan of 80s music, with Tears for Fears topping his playlist, and he enjoys football, basketball, and auto racing. A lifelong Pacers, Colts, and Notre Dame supporter, Nick also takes pride in his Cuban heritage, being the second person in his family born in the United States. His hands-on skills and dedication ensure every boat he touches is in top shape and ready for the water. When he’s not at work, Juan enjoys spending quality time with his family and watching movies. As a father of four, family is his top priority. He’s a rock music fan, with Mana at the top of his playlist, and a big supporter of LA Galaxy on the sports front. Juan’s go-to meal is Mexican food, and tacos are a staple he just can’t live without. If he could meet anyone in history, it would be Jesus, who he considers the most important person in his life. The best advice he’s ever received is to “be yourself,” and that’s how he approaches both life and work. At RTM, Juan’s favorite boat is the Lund, and his big life goal is to be the best dad he can be. With his dedication to his craft, passion for boats, and commitment to his family, Juan is a valuable and hardworking member of the RTM team.

Meet Patrick Moore – Service Tech Patrick Moore is part of the service team at Reeder Trausch Marine, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his time at Coastal Offshore X-Cellence, where he worked as both a tech and a captain. After moving to Indianapolis, Patrick saw a great opportunity to grow with RTM– and we’re lucky he did. He’s quickly become known for his strong work ethic and appreciation for RTM’s family-like atmosphere and growth potential. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time in the woods with his two sons. He’s a country music fan through and through, with Gavin Adcock as his favorite artist. While he’s not big on sports, he’s all about quality time with family and staying grounded. His favorite food is a classic steak, and when it comes to boats, nothing beats an orange white Bennington with twin Yamahas. Many people might not know that Patrick dreams of owning and running his own shop someday. He lives by the motto “Death before dishonor,” and the best advice he’s ever received is simple but powerful: “Always tell the truth.” If he could meet anyone from history, it’d be Johnny Cash–an icon who shares Patrick’s no-nonsense attitude and depth. Detailer
Kenny Nivens is the Detailer at RTM Indy. Before joining the team, they spent significant time as the Operations Manager for Ty’s Detail in Noblesville, Indiana. In that role, he managed the day-to-day logistics of the mobile detailing company, handling everything from scheduling and fleet maintenance to performing hands-on automotive details. Kenny was drawn to RTM by its distinct family culture. From the weekly team meetings to the friendly faces around the building. They continue to enjoy the collaborative team mentality and family-oriented environment that defines the workplace. Among the many vessels at RTM, the Lund stands out as their favorite boat. Outside of the shop, Kenny prioritizes peace of mind and enjoys spending time with friends and family. A music enthusiast who believes all genres are worthy of praise, he has a particular fondness for symphonic metal and the band Unleash the Archers. When it comes to entertainment and dining, their go-to movie is V for Vendetta and their ideal meal is a classic steak and potatoes. A little-known fact about Kenny is that they used to practice parkour. They approach life with the goal of leaving the world the same or better than they found it, guided by the advice: "Be smart about being stupid." To Kenny, this means that while taking risks or doing "stupid" things is sometimes inevitable in life, one must ensure they are being as calculated and smart as possible during those times.

Parts Specialist
Zach Su serves as a Parts Specialist at RTM, bringing with him a deep-rooted passion for the mechanical world. Before joining the team via a referral from his cousin, Zach honed his expertise at AutoZone, where he found his stride helping customers bring their custom projects to life by sourcing the perfect components. At RTM, he most values the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the genuine camaraderie shared among the staff. Outside of the office, Zach is a true tinkerer who finds peace in solitary focus. Whether he is wrenching on his own cars, working with firearms, or meticulously building model kits, he is happiest when engaged with anything mechanical. While he enjoys a wide variety of music, with an exception of country music, his entertainment of choice usually involves motorsports or anime. His favorite meal is a bowl of garlic tonkotsu ramen. Zach maintains a grounded outlook on life. He is a firm believer in prioritizing experiences and memories over material savings—often telling others to just "buy that car." Powered by his essential daily dose of caffeine, Zach’s ultimate goal is simple and sincere: to lead a happy, peaceful, and balanced life.

Meet Ben Johnston, Videographer Ben Johnston brings creative energy and a storyteller’s mindset to his role as Videographer at Reeder Trausch Marine (RTM) Indy. With six years of experience creating content for college and professional athletics, Ben has a passion for capturing moments that connect people. From highlight reels to athlete profiles, he knows how to tell stories that resonate—and he’s now bringing that same talent to the world of boating. Ben joined RTM to sharpen his skills, gain new experiences, and continue growing as a visual creator. What he loves most about RTM is the culture, the energy of the team, and—of course—being surrounded by boats every day. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with friends and family, gaming, and getting out on the water at Geist whenever possible. A former competitive singer and dancer for 10 years, he’s got a flair for performance that carries over into his visual work. While he doesn’t have a single favorite artist, his playlists range from EDM to classic rock. Sports are another big part of Ben’s life—he follows soccer, football, basketball, hockey, and lacrosse, rooting for teams like the Pacers, Colts, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Detroit Red Wings. His go-to movie? Star Wars—which makes his favorite quote, “Do or do not. There is no try,” all the more fitting. Meet Brock Johnson, Photographer Brock is the creative eye behind the lens at RTM Indy, capturing the boats, people, and moments that make our community shine. Before joining the team, he worked as a supervisor at a bowling alley, but he was ready for a change of pace—and RTM sounded like the perfect mix of fun and opportunity. What he loves most about working here? The coworkers. Brock says the team is “really nice and personable,” which makes every day more enjoyable. Outside of work, Brock’s world is filled with music and friends. He plays guitar, listens to his favorite band Static-X, and enjoys the energy of metal music. He’s also a Minnesota sports fan, a Simpsons Movie re-watcher, and never turns down a good pizza. One thing you might not know about him: he’s broken about 12 bones! If he could meet anyone in history, Brock would choose Pablo Picasso, whose creativity continues to inspire.
